Cyberworld Program:

As you all know that our magnificent school has been running for the last 66 years as the first batch was in 1958.

Many of our school graduates have scaled great heights and reached stars!

Once in a while, they do get together worldwide and with social media platforms, they are all able to connect together!

Similarly, in March 2020, 1988 batch Alumni wanted to have a get together at our school. However, due to covid, there was a curfew and they couldn't come to our school.

However, as Madhu Sir has come from USA to Hyderabad, he and others realized that 1988 batch class reunion funds need to be put for a good cause.

They talked to Orphanages and worked on distribution of food and materials to blind and orphan people. Some of the NRI families also supported their cause.

Emboldened by the success, Madhu Sir decided to kickstart an Alumni Association for our school through WhatsApp globally.

He wrote a 'Vision Document' and sent to our Well Wisher and School Diplomat and Guide and Mentor, Mrs. Nellie Raj ma'am!

She approached our honorable Headmistress Sister Nakshatram garu. As our HM is always at the forefront of serving school and thus, mankind, she had a talk with him and they decided to welcome Alumni members and execute the 'Vision Document'!

As our school has 6 decades of history and produced thousands of Alumni members, many joined our World group!

With the boost from Alumni Association especially from a great Philanthropist Smt. Usha Surapaneni, Alumni had an incredible start.

Usha ma'am, who is on this dias belonged to 1982 batch. She is our Alumni Association President.

She contacted Madhu Sir and assured him that she would lend her hand and offer full support to school and she hasn't gone back on her promise.

As HM Sister huddled all our teachers and facilitated class by Madhu Sir, every highschool teacher took HTML classes.

Later, Keshav Sir has continued the classes and 2020-2021 batch has shown a lot of interest.
Especially, the likes of Meghana, Chandan Sai, Revanth, Somesh, Bhanu Prakash, Padmavathi and many others began producing many webpages on sololearn app.

Madhu Sir challenged them do X syllabus and both State and CBSE have worked on entire X Class syllabus while sitting at home due to Covid.

As Covid continued on and off in the next calendar year 2021-2022, next batch with Bhuela and others continued HTML classes and IX and other class students also showed interest in the program.

With their bubbling enthusiasm, Both Sister Correspondent Inniyashyamma garu and Sister Nakshatram garu encouraged entire highschool to continue to work on syllabus.

We also have a tournamed named 'SJHS Kohinoor diamond tournament' where students competed to finish syllabus.

We also started a multimedia group and many videos were produced.

Nellie Raj ma'am as English Director has consistently released many audios related to English grammar, literature and other things related to English subject. Our Telugu scholar Rejaswari ma'am has also produced many audios related to our glorious Telugu literature and its rich history.

We have several Alumni members involved in 'English club' and other groups.

Usha ma'am has organized a fund raising campaign from 1982 batch and all her friends contributed significantly during Covid time. Sisters have wisely used those funds for both teaching and non-teaching staff. It truly helped them during the emergency crisis.

Cyberworld Program is a voluntary program and emulated NASA's Rocketship. We call it 'SJHS ROCKETSHIP SYSTEM. It has 3 stages.

Stage-1, Phase-1 of our iconic Rocketship system is HTML and CSS learning by all students and preparation of syllabus web pages.
We have an organization setup and all senior students take classes after school and we have positions like Cyberworld Student Leader -CSL, Website Admin, Subject Leaders etc,, we even have Primary School CSL and CO-CSL positions!
We have an ‘Honor Roll’ where the best are selected and listed on the website.

Phase-II is Digitalization with Syllabus Bank, Homework Bank, Attendance Bank, Staff Bank, Management Bank, Parents Banks, Alumni Bank and Infrastructure Bank!

Every Bank has an account for every individual where HTML files for eg:- Syllabus Bank means students shall add Exercises, Quizzes, References to any syllabus page!
For Homework Bank, it would be br homework files on a calendar date!

This digitalization allowed students to use their whatsapp to check any notifications from teachers! Same for parents or anyone associated or part of SJHS footprint!

Stage-II::

As digitalization and ‘WEB ENHANCED LEARNING’ allows infinite choices in any field, with our Alumni spread across the globe, school shall be open to get volunteers who would like to impart their knowledge in any specific field, be it Healthcare, Law, Engineering, Finance, Commerce or any government services like Police, Fire, Revenue etc., etc., or International bodies like United Nations, IMF, World Bank etc.,

Stage-III:: As Chief Designer, Madhu Sir wants entire footprint of SJHS to come together eventually and work on this stage with the launch of our rocket on the eve of Platinum Jubilee of school, that is 75th anniversary in 2033A.D.!

As Madhu Sir wants all of us students to emulate a student government at school with ‘Studentocracy’, we shall work like an international organization at micro level. His vision is to metamorphosis St.Joseph’s Highschool into a Micro-University!

With all out efforts, hopefully, the concept as ‘MySchool’ model gets picked up by other schools of CSA for a ‘DIGITAL UNIVERSITY’!

A first among all highschools world wide!

With every school following us, we hope to see a global revolution named C.A.R.V.E - Comprehensive Academic Revolution by Volunteering Educators!

Thus, we are planning to offer a non-political and peaceful ‘Academic Industrial Complex’ globally!

We, students have successfully finished entire syllabus from 6th to 10th and successfully uploaded to the website ‘Echoes of Universe’!

Thank you all for your patience!

Thank you HM Sister Nakshatram garu for leading from the front and setting up Computer Labs and allowing us to learn HTML and work on our syllabus pages!
