A website consists of several webpages that give you access to the related information. HTML rebders a powerful feature of linkung these webpages together, called Hyperlinking. Using these hyperlinks, you can open any linked web page on the internet instantly. When you hover the mouse pointer over a link, it changes into a little hand.
TYPES OF LINKINGLinking is the primary means to link two or more documents on a webpage . Using links, one can navigate through the desired web documents with just a click of a mouse. In HTML,an icon, text or graphic can be used to link another file or an object . A browser highlights the identified text or image with color and underlines to indicate that it is a hypertext link. There is no need to create a large document having all the information on that page itself as it makes the webpage flat and non-interactive. The information can be broken down into inter linked webpages that become easy to manage and navigate to and form either within a web page or to other pages within your website. Linking makes the documents interactive. Hyperlinks are the backbone of webpages. No webpage is without a hyperlink-other wise it is just like the pages of a document.
