USING A NEWSGROUP
Lets us learn how to use a Newsgroup. Open any newsgroup site , for example , www.reddit.com and create an account on it.
Login to your account. You will get the homepage of the newsgroup website as shown in Figure 1.7.
Type the desired topic, for example, 'Computer Languages', in Search bar located at the top of
the window and press the Enter key.
You will find a list of groups related to the searched topic as shown in Figure 1.8.
Browser through the list and select the desired group.
Click on the Join button displayed adjacent to the name of the group.
After completing the joining process, you become a member of this group.
Click on the name of the group to open the link. The newsgroup page will open.
You can read the latest news published in the group.
You can also create new posts by clicking on the Create Post link. A new window 'Create a
post' will open. Type the desired message in the textbook and click on Post.
The subscribes of this group can read your message by clicking on its titles. They can
also reply to this post by using the Reply button.
