What we have learnt

--> Light can be characterized by its wavelength (λ) and frequency (υ), and these quantities are related to the speed of light (c) as: c = υλ.

--> Electrons in an atom can gain energy by absorbing a particular frequency of light and can lose energy by emitting a particular frequency.
